Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Siena has a relatively small campus. There are under 4,000 undergrads here. But there is never a dull moment. The faculty here, especially in the school of science, are fantastic. They all do research outside of teaching, so they put a spin on their classes which is geared toward their area of expertise. Every teacher I have had here has been extremely flexible with their office hours, and provides materials and or review sessions to ensure you do the best you possibly can on their exams. That being said, they expect a lot out of you. The science classes tend to have strenuous exams and extensive lab work. There are always research opportunities for students in various areas. As far as social life, there is a whole section of campus, separated from the academic buildings and dorms, where all the upper classmen townhouses are. That is where all the partying happens. There are events that go on every Thursday by the student event board, dances, and movies playing in the lecture halls every weekend. There is virtually nothing to do off of campus without going 20 minutes south into Albany, unless you want to go shopping.
