Unresponsive instructors by both e-mail and course discussions
Contradicting assignment instructions that set students up for failure
Course shells are copy pasted which only adds to the confusion
I haven't learned any new material that I didn't already know from
my previous college's associates program (currently in UAT's bachelor program). UAT is apparently too concerned

about making as much money as it can that they only accept so many transfer
credits which causes me to take courses on things that I'm already
proficient in. Tell me, how does that benefit me in any way at all?
I may be getting good grades but that doesn't amount to anything if
the education I'm receiving is of poor quality.With the way these classes are going, I'm better off teaching myself.

1st Year Male -- Class 2017

Scholastic Success: C, Education Quality: F

The University of Advancing Technology over works its professors and is going through round after round of layoffs. The admins openly complain about the lack of money at UAT despite the fact this private university charges over $10,000 per semester per student, thus making millions every year. This "lack of money" is their excuse for having ancient, slow computers in every classroom, and for failing to provide the software they promised we would have access to. All exams are written on the spot by professors that often do not have teaching degrees, so it's not surprise that the majority of the exams can be found online with complete answer keys. This allows thousands of students to graduate without having learned what they needed to know to get a job, and those that did learn are shunned because of the school's poor reputation.

3rd Year Female -- Class 2013

Faculty Accessibility: A, Education Quality: F

Terrible school. Graduating with a BS in Computer Science, my focus was Game Programming. The awful part about this is their curriculum is backwards/wishy-washy, and not at all organized. The worst part is that now that I am done, it is perfectly obvious that what I learned, I taught myself, C++ is not taught here, and data structures is one of the last classes taught. Sure, they have C++ classes, but they do not actually teach it nor encourage it, nor is there any follow on classes for practical application.If I could I would sue the hell out of this university to get my money back, what a waste! A BS is not enough as a programmer, you have to have demo's, and have produced something which takes practice, and while I did that, and I have a stellar portfolio, none of it was a result of this school. None of it! It was all based on my own effort and my own studies and, towards the end, the school actually got in the way of my own studying.
