Unless you are someone who is more interestedQuite BrightPsychology
Unless you are someone who is more interested in the night life in San Francisco and you are over 21 do NOT go to this school. I'm lucky that I only had to experience two years at this school and not the whole four or five, I would have transferred out. The campus is very small and student housing is hard to come by. If you're lucky enough to get campus housing you will be charged an outlandish amount of money to live on campus. The school is very isolated from the city and it takes about forty minutes plus to get anywhere remotely fun. If you're looking for the typical college experience this school is not for you. Unless you decide to join a sorority or frat there are rarely house parties or anything fun for those of you who are under the legal drinking age. The psychology department is very unhelpful, probably because the major is impacted and you can definitely tell that it is. Choosing classes and actually getting it's them is nearly impossible and I've had to sacrifice my interests to take a class to fill requirements that I had zero interest in. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL, YOU WILL HATE IT.

I can only speak for biology majors.Quite BrightBiology
I can only speak for biology majors. As pre-med student, you will be forced to take many classes that does not help you succeed in the "real world" almost all professors will make you study topics that they do not test you on. This school has a massive curve because, they the university requires professors to fail a certain number of students.

Question
So disappointed in this school.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
So disappointed in this school... it has been my dream to live in San Francisco, and I couldn't wait to start my life out as a young adult at SFSU. Coming from southern California, there was minimal culture shock and more excitement than anything. Still, as time progressed, I grew beyond displeased with the demographic of my fellow students. It's a commuter school, so it really does feel more like a community college. I had to live off-campus, which is a no-no in social circles because the dorms are full of cliques. Everyone (at least the vast majority of freshmen I encountered) seems to be competing for who can act most like they're a party kid in high school -- it's embarrassing. The faculty is a mixed bag, much like any school, and the work is reasonable but still very reminiscent of high school. Administration is next to useless. This school has not challenged me, educationally or socially, and is a tremendous letdown.
