The social life is great.Quite BrightBiology
The social life is great. I have tons if friends who are girls and essentially every weekend we go to Georgia tech or Emory to the fraternity parties. I actually really like not being distracted by males in the classroom. Agnes Scott has become my sanctuary where the environment is totally relaxing, friendly, and academically centered. Also, the freshman dorms aren't great (still better than many school) but the upper class dorms are beautiful two story lofts (two people per room) it's worth the wait.

Question
If off Agnes Scott is a women's college,Quite BrightPsychology
If off Agnes Scott is a women's college, therefore if you want to hang around guys then go to a co-ed school. Overall I love Agnes just like any other university Agnes does has it pitfalls like conflicting schedule times. However Agnes Scott offers a great environment where learning is a top priority and less than satisfactory grades or not acceptable. Because Agnes Scott is close to Atlanta there is no reason why you can't have a social life. If you want to go somewhere off campus we have tons of transportation options. I would chose to go to Agnes all over again.

Question
My time at Agnes Scott College was someHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
My time at Agnes Scott College was some of the best of my life. It was a bumpy start though - I was homesick during my first quarter and it affected my grades. The college however worked with me and I brought my grades up. I had wonderful professors - with one exception ("Ripper"). I liked all of my classmates but one and amazingly I did not see her every day - even when we lived in the same dorm! (And I'm happy to report that she does not attend the reunions!) The Dean of the College and the Dean of Students were amazing women. Agnes Scott Hall and Rebekkah Scott Hall were remodeled during my sophmore year, so I lived in newly-remodeled dorms during my junior and senior years. I studied hard and if I wanted to play, there were plenty of opportunities. One thing no one has mentioned - SHOPPING! I live in Florida and when I go back every 5 years for reunion weekend, I make sure I have time to visit Lenox and Phipps. College is what you make of it. I enjoyed my time at ASC.
