Currently a sophomore biologyBrightBiology
Currently a sophomore biology major, going through the pre. medical track, and I am so thankful to be a Billiken. My professors, advisors, and campus resources have definitely helped me to get closer to achieving my dreams! :)

Question
Tuition is very heavy, but the results areQuite BrightMath
Tuition is very heavy, but the results are not so significant. It has a local reputation, but it offers little to no joint bachelor and master programs. A lot of classes or your engine ads, as a Catholic school, but it also means that if you are a science major, you have less classes to take for your major unless you do engineering. The courier services are pretty bad, that you pretty much expect yourself to work on job or internship on your own, and Illuminati is might not be so friendly for you if you reach out to them. Probably they see that this degree is useless to them to some extent. But I will say that faculty often know what they are teaching well which could be worse at other places

Question
SLU only cares about the athletes.BrightBiology
SLU only cares about the athletes. I expected more from a Jesuit institution. They treat their employees HORRIBLY. My uncle had the great displeasure of working for them for more than ten years, SLU hides money, fixes things the cheapest way possible, and doesnt care about 1 out of the thousands of students. If you do not have a scholarship, or free tuition I would not recommend going here. You are paying for the reputation. The reputation being uptight assholes who can barely run a college, pushing the mantra "Higher purpose, greater good."

Slu is no better than any other third rate college. Go to WashU if you have the option. With all that said, St Louis is a great city, the crime isnt as bad as portrayed and you can meet some great people if you reach out. Good luck!
