Super Brilliant
I transferred UB so that I could be in smaller classes for intro-level stuff only to discover that UB is a better investment and much less expensive. The students are nice, but they're all over the place intellectually, from really good students who could do well anywhere to students who shouldn't be in college. I had a few good professors here, but I'm going to leave and go back to a research school.

Bright
I transferred here from UB for a more personal experience and to pursue my PharmD. Coming from UB and having class sizes of 400+, I assumed D'Youville would be much more personal with class sizes less than 30. D'Youville was less personal than UB and they give you the "run around" if you have a problem. I am transferring back to UB after one semester at D'Youville. It was a waste of money. you pay 5x what you pay at UB and you get a worse education. DONT GO TO D'YOUVILLE!

Quite Bright
After acceptance and registration (I think they take everyone if you show them the money), I found out that I had to complete 3 extra college/University courses before student teaching. These must be completed on your own time and at your cost on top of the already heavy course load. Also, NY state has three very difficult and stressful/expensive tests that must be completed and which nobody told me about. On top of all of this, the school makes you right an exit exam which they call a Comprehensive Exam, which is a four day insane paper that is sent out to students and where every student freaks out about for four days. If you fail you don't graduate or do student teaching until the next semester when the test is offered again for something like another $300 dollars or so. Every Canadian in my courses literally had no clue how to write this exam or what was expected in terms of content and writing style. BRUTAL
