Welcome to the University that promotes teachers vs.AverageComputer Science
Welcome to the University that promotes teachers vs. students atmosphere. There is very little consideration as to what your individual needs for a particular course and upon approaching a teacher outside of class, it almost seems as though they are annoyed rather than willing to help. ESPECIALLY THE PHYSICS DEPARTMENT. Absolutely horrible. The worst part is that they are unwilling to change.

Obviously, there are exceptions as some teachers actually teach and care about your success as a student. However, there are more bad teachers than good.. otherwise I wouldn't be complaining.

I am a 'B' student and have been my whole college career. I have taken my fair share of bull-$$$% courses and am ready for the career that may be ahead. However, the Watsom administrators decided that my previous science experience was not good enough to meet their requirements when a Professor from the school I transfered from proved that everything was covered in the curriculum that was covered here. They didn't care, as it was too much work for them to allow it.

Question
I love Binghamton.Quite BrightPolitical Science
I love Binghamton. For a price half that of schools like George Washington, Boston U, Cornell, and others that I applied to, I am getting an education that is among the best in the world. Political Science at Binghamton was recently ranked in the top 20 in the world. What else could you want from a public Ivy? Academics in Binghamton are among the best in the country. Other strong programs are: Anthropology, Geology (among the best), Management, Environmental Science, History...

If you want to be intellectually stimulated, work among some of the best professors in their field, and pay half the price of a private school, Binghamton is for you.
