Some of the liberal arts classes are jokes.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Some of the liberal arts classes are jokes. If you get a good professor, it will be a good experience but some of the teachers are really mediocre. There are smart kids here, but especially in gen ed classes, some of the kids here are dumb as rocks. social scene is cliquey. never seen so many jews, asians, gangsta assholes from the city in one place. frats suck. there are the white preppy ones, asian ones, anything demographic you can imagine to further segregate an already cliquey student body. and they call state schools "diverse." school is really ugly, weather terrible. financial aid here sucks, I get absolutely no aid here while I qualify for around 35000 at private schools. can't wait to get out of here.

Question
I had bad luck ever since i steppedAverageBiology
I had bad luck ever since i stepped on campus. The orientation was disorganized and not worth the money. There is a lot of racial tension and a lot of sterotypes that prevent people to act in a normal manner, not to mention the town is in really bad shape and is also racist. I transfer into the school and am transferring right back out. Oh yea, and the town and campus is haunted by native indians (im sensitive to the spirits and the ghost stories i heard just confirmed my feelings). Its easy to get depressed up there because the weather is always cold and gloomy when school is in session. People have no manners and will allow the door to be slammed in your face and they look right through you and act like your invisable. This school needs to get it together! But hey, its cheap and the academics are good. But you get what you pay for!

Question
My college experience at Binghampton was that itPsychology
My college experience at Binghampton was that it was a cold environment, the "world renown physics teacher and pysch teachers and science teachers I was also premed, were either incoherent, you couldnt understand a word they said, didnt teach at all, or were whackos. It was basically a waste of my time going there and when I got out the 2 degrees I worked so hard for... psych and podiatry were both a big big waste of my time!!! neither field is good... DO your homework and go into something really practical and interview people and look into careers as much as possible.. the only reason suny b is competitive is because its cheap! Its also really cold, no help in the careers advisors dept etc, and the teachers suck. the health profession sucks now too dont believe what you hear on tv they are often 2-3 years behind the times and are often wrong!
