Lets talk about safety, my car got broken into at 8am in broad day light. smashed my window and stole my $300 stereo. lets talk about friendliness, people at wittenberg are stuck up, racist, close minded and suburban. most people at wittenberg drink, so its like one big bar. so if you dont drink, wittenberg might not be for you. also, if youre not conservative, this isnt the school for you. the people that work at wittenberg are cool though, like the secretaries, and staff (excluding profesors). the cit itself is real cool. a very typical midwestern city. i came here to see what the midwest was all about and get a pretty good idea. wittenberg is very greek driven, so you may feel left out if youre not in a frat/sor... the food is good. parking is terrible. dont bring a car. you pretty much have to walk everywhere. dorms are disgustingly dirty, mostly because the students are really untidy.

Recommended: What college is right for you?
“1)Language - French/Spanish/etc.
1) If you go to another state, no one will know what Wittenberg is. Is does not matter that you work harder than the people at Yale to get your grades. Go to OSU instead, people have heard of that.
2) The education department's support of secondary ed. teachers was terrible at the time I was there. I hope it is better now. My teacher friends cannot believe how badly I was treated.3) It appears the school has steadily gone downhill since they acted against the Greeks. Greek life was the only good thing about Wittenberg.

Wittenberg is a great place to meet new people and learn from the many outstanding professors. Both new and old faculty members work hard to push academics to higher levels of excellence each year. State of the art facilities are booming across campus, including a new $23 million science center and Hollenbeck Hall. The campus is set within woody hills and gorgeous hollows perfect for outside activities.
Wittenberg students do tend to stay within their social bubble, but more often than not make the easy stroll to local bars just a few blocks away. Wittenberg University also prides itself on tradition, which can make meeting people a unique experience. The school maintains a small campus atmosphere with a big vision for the future. The construction of two new apartment buildings has been the subject of controversy among students who have raised the fear of losing some of the school's more homey qualities.
Overall Wittenberg maintains a seamless balance between social and academic activties. Some of the most memorable nights are with Jim Beam and a socially conscience mind; it's a wonderful mix.
