Lamar gave me theMechanical Engineering
Lamar gave me the best engineering education I could afford at the time. This school is not well known in the country, but for me it remains the best investment decision I have ever made.

Question
I graduated with a B.Quite BrightBiology
I graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chem. I loved Lamar! I learned so much, made so many friends, and met some awesome professors. If you have a good attitude about it, and work hard, you can achieve whatever you want. Lamar has had students go on to Baylor med school, Harvard Law, and so on... really!! The pre-med program is great, though I opted to go to Physical Therapy school myself. The chem department is wonderful (as far as a minor goes)! The bio staff is incredibly friendly and helpful... Some of the upper level classes are challenging.. Well, some of the general classes can be challenging as well, but if you ask the faculty they will help you with any problems and are very understanding! I still keep up with some of my professors. :) Also, if you are looking for more of a challenge, check out the honors program. Joining that program changed my life! I have no regrets!
