UMW sucks. i went to this school forAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
UMW sucks. i went to this school for one year expecting a small college experience, but got something completely different. The problem with mary washington is not that it is a small school (Radford and longwood are smaller, but still funner), rather, the problem is the people. I made only one friend at mary washington. The guys who go to mary washington are weird as hell. The baseball team are weird. The guys on the baseball team think that they are "hard" and "tough", when in actuallity they're just a bunch of nerds who stand out somewhat at a nerdy school (I think the biggest bench press i ever saw at umw was like 275). I have never seen so many ugly girls in one place. mary washington is home to some of the ugliest girls in America. you would think that given the ratio of women to men (7:3) there would be attractive women there, but there arent. I think I saw 10 girls who were legit attractive. The academics at mary washington suck. the liberal/communist professors at mary faggington don't want to teach you - they want to "challenge" you. the ultra liberal professors at umw also don't want to hear any kind of view that might challenge their liberal politics that they force on the student body. the geography department, math department, business department, and almost every other department is a joke.if you are looking for a college experience with great academics - DONT COME HERE!!!

Question
This is the school where all the losers/unmotivatedBrightComputer Science
This is the school where all the losers/unmotivated Virginians go to. Basically, people here are content going to a very mediocre school, and living a mediocre life.

The extremely high acceptance rate fills this school with the really weird kids you knew in high school. You see many types of disabled, challenged, people here, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but still man...

Social life is OK. Fortunately, I lived a privileged life, and I have experienced awesome parties (before UMW), but when I come here, to see these kids dressed in sweat pants and t-shirts they got for free, telling me about these "awesome" parties in their shitty 200 a month rented apartments, I truly want to shake my head sadly.

Classes are pretty great though. I have learned a lot and meet some great teachers. I love the small class sizes in most of the courses. There are a few horrid teachers, but I`m sure that's true with a lot of schools of this caliber.I guess I have come to understand that not everyone can have my motivations. Some people are content living a truly mediocre life. I guess the world needs people like that. I have had to make weekend end trips to nyc to relieve my self of the hole that is fburg, and this school. Thankfully, I will be transferring either to WM or UVa next semester, and I know I will be more content at a school that actually rejects retards, who contribute nothing to society, except their 2.0 GPA and low motivations in life.
