I transferred to Southwestern after three years at a more competitive but less supportive institution. Southwestern was a time of character building for me and I am grateful for the lessons learned. Academically I was personally challenged to give my best but after graduating I have learned that my writing skills diminished tremendously during the years I attended. I have worked hard to regain what was lost.I think the Southwestern could do more to reach out to recent alums but applaud them on their efforts to beautify the campus.I recommend this college to students who are seeking to find more than just information overload. At Southwestern you will learn who you are and the information you learn will enhance your whole self. The academic environment is not competitive but then again but it parallels the ministry environment very well.I recommend visiting the campus or attending Campus Days because the greatest attributes of the school are revealed in this environment. And from my personal experience the on-campus program is 100 times more fulfilling that the distance education program.
