AU, as an experience, is, well,special. While the faculty is incredible, the students are arrogant. There isn't a big social scene, and do not plan on being able to approach people. The quality of classes depends a lot on the school you go to-Public Affairs is tough, and can be v. competitive, while Communication has easier classes and is more laid-back.
