Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
When you enter a school like Cornell, you must have the correct mind-set, otherwise you could have four (or more) miserable years. Realize that you are entering a university, not a college. By that, I mean that you should expect to do work, and if you happen to have free time, then you are allowed to relax. Students here tend to be stressed from the second week of class till the very last day of finals. This is not to say we do not have fun, as Cornell has numerous extra-curricular programs (from a Cigar club, to a caving club, to, well, you name it, its here). The Greek system is also very strong. Its easy to find a party whenever you are in the mood. Lastly, the campus is simply amazing. If you are the outdoors type, you WILL go nuts with the waterfalls, gardens, and random nooks and crannies that only such a large campus can have.
