99% of Keene State students fall into three categories #1- They screwed up in High School or did poorly on the SATs #2- They can't afford to go to a large school. #3- Their parents don't trust them to go very far away.Despite this, there are many students here that could easily do well at an Ivy League school if they were just a little more organized/ambitious/socially inept. If you want to make something out of yourself here, the tools are available to you. However, it's just as easy to delude yourself into endless partying, this school has that reputation. There is an overcrowding and parking problem on campus, but off campus housing is pretty cheap for a quasi-urban campus. That's right, there's a sorta urban downtown nearby, but you're in a small town atmosphere. Not too bad, but not the best college either.
