Florida Atlantic University is largely considered a commuter school (people live off-campus), so it lacks to some degree the college feel and camaraderie among its students. The Boca Raton area is kind of upperclass in the financial sense, so many of the students who attend are kind of snotty. If I had a dollar for every BMW, Mercedes, Lexus in the parking lot… and a dime for every student I saw yapping about nothing on their cell phones I would be a rich man.
