Overall, case gives a good education, whether in engineering or sciences or social studies. To my experience, all professors have been approachable. However, the general atmosphere of the undergrad populations though is not that great. There are pleasant individuals, but for the whole, the campus can be divided into three groups; one, those who came to case to study engineering and is able to discuss only the following topics: operating systems, grades and rpg's. Two, those who came to case because it was the best school they could attend, and spend all spare time watching tv…esp reality shows and american idol. Three, somewhat in between the above two, and with all the worst qualities of both. HOWEVER, should you never find a group that you like, transitioning between these three types of people does provide some entertainment. So, overall, Case is a good education, but looking for intellectual culture and peers is something of a lost hope. PS. To the engineers out there, Case actually has a better rated business/management school than engineering school.
