This school is a colete sham. It is not regionally accrdited, but rather accredited by the Distance Education Training Council. The school was started by a former marine major who wanted to rip off military service members. The "school" operates out of the back of a wharehouse in West Virginia. They are making money off of screwing men and women in the military. Please listen to me, the credits are worthless! They WILL NOT transfer to any other university. The school has failed for regional accrddidation by the SACS 2 times.

Do NOT be ripped off.

responseAMU isn't even in the correct region to be accredited by SACS, so you're posting has no merit. They were granted candicacy and regional accreditation by the NCACS on the first application. Get your facts straight and quit posting bull****. Sheesh.
commentOkay, obviously the female above did not accurately cite any information nor did she state anything other than emotional non-sense because she did not do enough research to see which credits would transfer. All I really want to know is if AMU is regionally accredited or not. Thank you.
responseAMU is a member of APUS (American Public University System) which is REGIONALLY accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association, www.ncahlc.org, 230 North LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604, 800-621-7440.
responseIf anyone entertains a thought past the initial comment that this person provided, then college is probably not for you.
