To be successful at this mega commuter college it's imperative to find your niche group right away to form a small community. If you don't you can become easily "lost" and lonely. Now that I'm a parent of a college-bound son, I am aware of the liberal brainwashing that goes on at many colleges and am quite affronted by it. Back in 1980, we had "psychology" classes almost everyone took that were simply sex ed instruction advocating immoral sexual conduct that Planned Parenthood could have written. Shudder to think of the pro-Sodomite or sexual instruction now taught there; hope it's changed for the better and isn't a "poster school" for the MTV generation.
