Prior to matriculating at U$C for college, I was a student at Cornell's high school program. THe reason why I chose U$C was the scholarship I received. I was hoping to study in an intellectual environment where students take their academics seriously. Unfortunately, that is not the case at U\(C. There's only a small pinch full of scholarship based students at SC. Others came to USC because they come from rich families, or couldn't get inot UCLA. In addition, many students tend to join fraternities and sororities, and party till they puke their guts out. Student also have no respect for one another. For example, if you tell your neighbor to turn his/her music down, they will not listen. U\)C students also tend to be materialistic. If you like Greek life, and no intellectual environment…then USC is the right school for you. If not…don't make the wrong decision like I did…chose an Ivy League college (or a college similar to Ivy League such as Stanford, Northwestern, Georgetown…).
