Knox College

I absolutly love knox college so far! Keep in mind that i am only a first year, but i planing on comming back! Academically Knox is challenging as it should be, but given the amount of help and consern provided by the faculty and staff nothing is impossible. The administration is very caring and consciencious of their students. They provide extra touches like midnight breakfast, cattered thanksgiving, finals survival kits and the all loved Flunk Day,(Funk Day is one unknown and randomly selected day in spring term when all classes are canceled and the school provides several fun activities for the entire student body to enjoy)all which are nice bounuses. i was empressed when i noticed that the dean of student affairs actually sought me out just to ask how school was going and to see if i needed any help. Knox is a small school which for some people can be unattractive, but i dont think the quality and care one recieves at knox could be attained at a larger university. Socially i have met some of the nicest people at knox. Everyone is free to interact as they please and there is no pressure to be anything you are not. The town of galesburg where Knox is located is not "Happening" in the least, so If you are looking for a party town this is not the place. However, knox students definately get an "A+" when it comes to having a good time! There is always plenty to do on campus, and although we do work hard during the week, we know how to party harder on the weekends. Knox is 100% genuine and well worth every penny.
