Some things never change. Many bright, aspiring students who go to Wake get washed out of the competition for professional school, as I was for law school. Thus we form our own clique of tacit knowledge about our plight. At age 22, compelled to salvage the remains of the day, we usually tack on a teaching certificate around the 2nd semester of our senior year.
