UD is awesome. College is mostly what you make of it. If you go out and do things other than sit in your dorm and party nonstop you will gain so much. There is so much to do on campus. Party scene isn't as great as it used to be, but you can still find some awesome parties if they haven't been broken up by cops. The campus isn't as safe as it once was, but honestly that's the way it is a lot of places now. You have to be smart—not walk alone at night especially.
