I just completed my Sophomore year at the University of Delaware and I LOVE IT!! Some people say the people here are arrogant but I really don't think so. The majority of the school's population are Abercrombie & Fitch, J. Crew type of people…Luckily I'm a J. Crew type of guy. So if you're anything like a prep or jock you'll def. fit in. There are ALL diff types of people, not everyone here is closeminded. A couple of months ago they had a Gay Pride parade on Main St…although I don't know what the turnout was like…they say they still had it. The University tries their best to offer us things to do. There are house parties AT LEAST every Friday and Saturday…if you're 21 or over you'll love the bar scene (3 bars) on Main St. The majority of the campus here LOVES to drink, as do I. A frat had a Luau party with 2,000 people 500 Cases of beer (30 beers a case) and they ran out of beer in 4 hours. Homecoming IS GREAT…pay $3 and drink all day, from sun up to sun down. Wake up in the morning and have Keg & Eggs…you will literally see people passed out in the grass by 1pm-2pm. Gotta love UD BABY!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! Oh yea and the academics are good too!
