Well, I'm curious as to how the last rater got into Dartmouth with a score of 21 on the ACT and a meager 1080 on the SAT? I believe this shows why she is struggling in class. Of course professors don't hesitate to fail a student who does failing work. Trying is great, but do you want your surgeon to only "try" if you have an operation? If she's having trouble making friends, maybe she should lose the attitude. I struggle in ALL of my classes, but I don't blame Dartmouth for not being easy. I came here because I, like most students I know, wanted a challenge. |
Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
i fed into the whole ivy league booshwa attitude and dartmouth gives a whole lot of money away. If you aren't involved with other activities, imma lay out the facts. The social scene for the weekend is mundane, just drinking and hooking up on the weekend. That is why you have to get involved with other clubs and ecs, and there are plenty. Christian groups, outdoor clubs, tucker foundation (community service), acting clubs, and intramurals. In addition, it is May 30, and I still am wearing my down coat. BRRRR!!!! Most of the professors are very friendly, but many aren't afraid to fail you, regardless of all your hardwork and effort. be forewarned. My advice is to do your homework before you choose a college. Don't just judge it based on the name. If they give u a full scholarship, and u know college is going to be a struggle to pay for, then go there, but if for any reason you are unhappy, choose somehwere else. Choose something that fits you, and by doing so, visit the schools on a normal day, not one of those alumni weekends or prospie days. They are fake. Visit on a normal day when visitors are unexpected (like february)
