Major: Computer Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
As an institution, Purdue is much like any other large state school. Don't expect any personalized treatment from anyone in the administration, and be happy with them even treating you as a number and not forgetting about you. My major classes were difficult, yet not so difficult I could not excel in them. Socially, Purdue is cracking down more and more on both the Greek system and off-campus parties. The party scene still thrives though, driven by the non-engineers who can usually find any day to throw a party (much to the delight of the engineers). The bars are pretty good still, and football days (esp. breakfast club) can't be beat at any school. The only good thing about Greater Lafayette as a city is that it's driving distance to Chicago.
