To be totally honest, there is not many bad things I have to say about Villanova. I mean, sure I complain but what college student is 100% complacent with their school? Bad things first… Villanova is not a diverse place (although improving). Many of the students have a lot of money and flaunt it. The local police really do suck and seem to want to bust every kid they can get hold of.

Now on to the good things (which in my mind) outweigh any of the bad qualities I mentioned above. The campus is an extrememly friendly and welcoming place. Walking through campus, there are always people to talk to and events being held. The education is excellent. The engineering department is top notch and the professors are genius. The campus is beautiful. A really nice aesthetically pleasing place with lots of open space to sit, read, study and talk. The dorms are (for the most part) excellent. Although you may have a really crappy dorm, most residence halls are new, air conditioned. The apartments on West Campus are spectacular. New and beautiful, you won't find nicer college living than these. The food (although someone earlier wrote that it was awful) is really really good. I have heard from visitors that the food at Nova is "way better" than at their respective schools. Many choices of where and what to eat. Great quality and selection. The social scene is great. However, this great social scene doesnt come without trying. You need to get involved. I hear freshman say they cant find any good parties, but I guarentee if they were involved and new upper classmen, met people in fraternities or joined a club they would know and be attending tons of parties. That is what I did and I have had a wonderful time since. Also the bar scene is really cool…although they have got more strict and a good ID is needed.

Villanova was not my first choice (Duke was) but it has turned into a blessing in disguise.
