I am attending this school as an out of state student.I heard people say that 50 kids come here from the same high school but i figured it was an exaggeration, i was wrong. i came here to make friends, unfortunately, most people dont. why? because they already have their friends. they want to expand their group of friends, but its not fun hanging out with people who have been friends for years. coming into the honors program i thought it would be easy for me to meet people. unfortunately, the girls on my floor dont talk to each other very much. i had heard that in college ur floor becomes very close. if u want that, dont come here. yes, the campus is pretty and there are always tons of parties. if u love your friends from your high school in maryland and want to go to frat parties with them every weekend than this is the school for you. however, if u were hoping for a better college experience, dont come here. also, if u dont like football, dont come here either.
Responses
responseAttending a school as an out-of-state student can be challenging, especially when many students come from the same high school. diamond cut rating Building connections in college is vital, but it can be tough when existing friendships dominate. Hopefully, with time and effort, you'll find like-minded individuals to form new bonds and create your own close-knit group.
