Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Akron is an OK school. I went there because I got into the Honors Program (looks good on a resume) and they gave me the most financial aid. This is my second year there though and even though I was on Dean's list, they did not give me any more finacial aid (a friend told me they usually give at least $500) and they raised the tuition 9%. So, I am going to a school that costs more than I can afford and was not even my first choice. Also, the accedemics are not that great, if you have a 3.0, they think you are doing great, some profs are really good, but the others just give you notes from transparencies and 3 exams a semester.
