its not very diverse here but gvsu really does try. its one of the few school that has multicultural assitants in housing that work w/ the R.A. the school its self is openminded its the students who aren't. but were in a little area called allendale, which also happens to be a bible belt. we sometimes get very lost students who have never come in contact with a minority till coming here, but grand valley minority population is only 10% thats about 5% black 2% hispanic 2% asian and 1%other. but its definatly a good experiance for a minority, i am one, because gvsu represents what the world.
