Marist has strong academic programs and the professors are helpful. However, most of the students are from Long Island and they all are the same. Do not expect to meet a variety of intellectually different people. The college makes you feel like you are in high school because of the tight security, rules, and the students. I am a very open minded person but I am dissapointed with this school. Marist does not have a lot of school spirit, the cafeteria is disgusting, registration is complicated, and the only thing to do at night is go to bars because house parties always get broken up. Do not go to this school. The worst thing than death is enrolling to Marist College.
