Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
USF has provided me with a good education, as well as valuable experience learning from the insights of students and instructors from varied backgrounds. However, sometimes a weakness and a strength are tied together, and that is the case for USF. We not infrequently make the news, and it usually doesn't look good for us when we do, so keep in mind that along with the benefits of a polyglot campus environment you may also find yourself in the spotlight of some controversy. Also: I have heard from some students that Intro-level courses are often taught by harried T.A.'s who have little time for personal attention. I got my A.A. from St. Petersburg College—a school which I highly recommend if you're looking for a quality education from a junior college before transferring to a university. All of my instructors at SPC had Master's degrees or higher, and cared deeply about the quality of education available to students.
