I am sure you probably have heard about Texas A&M by now. It's school spirit, conservative values, and student organization are "amazing". Let me tell you something that an average Aggie graduate does not experience or tell you. Minorities get shut down of this school because most "typical" aggies wants A&M to be all white, conservative, small-town, christian school. Anything different to these ideas are totally unacceptable to their standard. It was just last year that a homosexual student Matt Rooney was assaulted and beaten at Northgate, which is the typical hangout place for aggies. Minorities often experience racial slurs when walking on Texas Ave. at night by driving by trucks. Please really think about where you gonna go to college. These events above are true stories. Do some reseach yourself before you go.
