American University is a great university in the nations capital. It's a very diverse school. AU provides many internships to its studnets in the heart of the capital. AU has definately become quite competative, and is certainly climbing the ladder every year. There are only six private universities which have progressed more than AU, proving that AU is on track to become top notch. A lot of good faculty, and a great career center to help you find tons of internships.
