I'm pre-med and I have been miserable for the majority of my four years here. Classes are way too hard, and we're expected to memorize lots of tiny useless details. Grading in sciences is brutal, even in upper-level classes. And while we're well-prepared for med school, their policies put us at a distinct disadvantage compared to other colleges. If you're doing humanities, you'll probably be more satisfied than if you do science. If you do science, you'll also be burned out beyond your wildest imagination.Social life also sucks the big one. People are really weird and most aren't any fun. So for me, hard work + bad social scene = 4 miserable years.
