Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
There are alot of amazing oportunities at BU, but you have to do the leg work and find about them for yourself. Nothing is handed to you on a silver platter here and a lot of students who come from more sheltered privledged homes are put off by that, but I think it's one of the University's greatest strengths. You definitely graduate from here prepared to take care of yourself. Also, I gave lower grades on academics than I would have otherwise because the survey asked specifically about the quality of your department. As an English major I wouldn't reccommend the English program as one of the University's strongest. But I'm minoring in Computer Science and despite its comparatively small size it's a well developed up and coming program that a lot of employers are impressed by. And BU has alot of other really strong programs, International Relations, Biology, and Management to name a few
