People say that your first job out of college sets the tone for the rest of your career. This is quite true. Where you end up upon graduation does impact your future employment prospects and admission to grad school. But how do you get that first great job without having any experience or family connections? The answer is co-op. Northeastern's Co-op program allows you to get your foot in the door while you’re still in school? That way the people at the company can see what you can do, and if you perform well, you will be at the top of the hiring list (you will also end up with a higher starting salary). All of my friends who graduated from Northeastern ended up getting hired by top companies and some of them went on to top graduate and professional schools like MIT and Harvard Medical School. So if you want to get into some of the world’s leading companies, Northeastern should be high on your list. P.S., the academics, campus life, location, and facilities are pretty good too.
