Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
The last five years were great, and it was cool to get a dual B.A.- Music and History. My future plans are to tie the two fields together and get an MA in Musicology or Cultural History. Attending UB was a great experience, and the atmosphere was great! Being a musician, a historian, a composer, and a performer, I couldn'tve asked for a better education. Feel free to ask me anything! A cool point about the school I attended is that it's 40 minutes from Niagara Falls, Canada, and I can be in Toronto in 2.5hours. The people in Buffalo are great, and there's a lot going on socially! I'm a workaholic, so I didn't find a lot of the coursework to be overly difficult. If I was presented with a challenge, I went out to get the info needed to get the work done. Music theory was probably the most challenging sequence of theory courses you'll ever take as an undergrad, but you learn so much from the 4-semester sequence. If you want to meet people, get involved in any of the clubs, sports teams, intramurals, music ensembles, soclai events, etc. Again, feel free to ask me anything!

questionHey what is this 4-semester thing you are talking about. I'm currently looking into transferring there and I would like to know the inside scoop of the school. I made the mistake the first time of not getting in touch with people who went to my school to see what it was really like. Where you on North Campus? Is it easy to get to downtown or other colleges in the area with out a car?
I'm deciding between some schools and i wanted to know if it was hard to get help in school work if needed. I am a bright kid and in upper level high school classes but still
questionHow long did it take you to make friends? I'm a freshman at University at Albany and I'm thinking of transferring to Buffalo (the friends I've found don't share my interests and the academics are mediocre)
