I transfered to SIUC from John A. Logan College. I learned more at a community college than I did at SIUC. I feel I got ripped off. The campus is run-down, the town is boring, and there are no decent jobs. The quality level of the education is a C at best. I am sorry I came to SIUC. The SIU-Edwardsville campus is a much better school, over-all. Don't come to Carbondale. I am going to grad school at U of I-Springfield this year. If you want to be bored, get a mediocre degree and live in a red neck town and be on a financially broke, run down campus that looks like yopu are in 1972, then come to SIUC. If not, look at other schools first.
