I was also an economics major. The form wouldn't let me fill in multiple majors.

Case was a great experience.

The professors were almost all incredible. This is both from an in-class standpoint and a personal out-of-class standpoint. Nearly every professor I had was always willing to spend out-of-class time with students and I still keep in contact with some of my old profs.

From a social perspective, Case is what you make of it. For those who sit in their rooms playing computer games all the time, there is nothing to do. For those who go out to campus events, make friends, and get involved in student activities, there's tons of stuff to do. If you're an outgoing person, I would recommend Case's Greek Life scene, as that is where the most outgoing, social people seem to be. (Also, since Case is a small, intelligent school, the Greek Life system is very different than your stereotypical big state school system… Give it a try).

The surrounding area is ok. Cleveland is a very interesting city. It has everything you would want in a city - culture, food, nightlife, etc - but the only problem is all of these great things are surrounded by slums. Case's campus is relatively safe except right by East Cleveland. If you're looking to take advantage of all Cleveland has to offer, you'll need a car because you don't want to be taking the bus through the city's nastier areas.

All in all, I would recommend Case 100%. I was sad to leave it and would gladly go back if I had to choose again.
