Being successful at Tulane requires one to have great time management skills. There is always something going on in New Orleans, and the students at Tulane must learn quickly how to create a balance between academics and their social lives.

A lot of people will claim that Tulane has a homogenous student body, and they're right. It can be tough to fit in if you don't fit the mold, but not impossible. The "outcasts" of Tulane seemed to find each other and do just fine.
