I just graduated from Colorado State. I was an in state student. I love Fort Collins. There's a reason it's consistantly ranked #1 in places to live. In my four years, I've lived and worked all over town. CSU is the heart and soul of the community, and it is such a great place to live. The people are nice and the rent is cheap (compared to boulder). The party/bar scene is good. The outdoor activites and plentiful, and Denver is only an hour away. College is what you make of it, so it's your own fault if you're bored. My only complaint with FOCO is the maximum three unrelated people to a house law, that's a pain in the ass.

Although they are raising tuition, CSU is still a great bargain. The econ program is possibly the best kept secret in the state. Business, engineering, Construction management, HES, Vet, are all recognized as top notch. My professors as a whole have been high caliber and willing to help. Ive only delt with a couple of self righteous Professor "I wrote the book" ass-hats which is pretty goood for four years.

Soially, I found that its been pretty easy to make friends here and for the most part the student body is approachable, friendly and relativly smart. The girls are hot. Ethnically, CSU could use a little bit more diversity but so could every major U in the county.

Our sports teams are mediocre, but games are entertaining. I wasn't greek, but the scene looked okay, The facilities are continually being upgraded and the historical element to some of the buildings is pretty cool, fits in well with the campus asthetics. The technology and research seems to be funded well. CSU is a great school Go rammies!
