I feel like Davis is a campus with a great atmosphere and a big heart. The people are friendly and approachable and the town is accessible and student-friendly. Students are passionate about their extracurriculars—although many aren't so passionate about their schoolwork. The University and town tries to maintain and enivronmentally-conscious mode; people really care about local issues.
