I transferred from Clemson University to be close to home and because of how cheap instate tuition is. This university is horrible. I think most of the student body can't get into any other college and think this place is great. They don't have any usefull on campus parking. If you want to just visit you have to pay to park in the parking deck. The commuter lot is right beside my apartment complex off campus. For a public school you would expect an on campus bus system. There is no on campus system here. The professors keep telling their students that "This is not another UNCG class where you show up and make an A." EVERY class is like that. Most tests are multiple choice with some only having 10 questions. I took Economics at Clemson and decided to take a class over as a "refresher" course. The economics department at UNCG is a joke. The professors never teach what you need to know. Most questions come from their own experience and are just useless information. We spent the first half of the semester at UNCG just talking about how to think like an economics. Then there are the group advising which isn't one on one. Nothing at UNCG is personal. They will also charge you without even telling you. They only want money here and will accept anyone. My parents also keep getting calls about donation $500 every weekend. Do not come here! Useless education!
