Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time)
I originally went to the University of Oklahoma with very high hopes. I joined the Greek community (which is vital at OU) and became involved in many various extracurricular activities. Shortly I learned that the vast majority of the University of Oklahoma are only concerned about fitting in, which is usually done at another's expense. Eventually, the social scene of OU was sickening, and I found myself leaving Norman almost every weekend. The sad thing was that I was popular and had several friends at OU, yet I hated being around the people there. Furthermore, my education is of extreme importance and once it became apparent that the University would not accommodate me in almost any way (despite the fact that I maintained a 4.0 for four semesters) I decided to transfer to another university. This transfer from OU was the best decision of my life. OU claims to be a highly academic institution, yet they obviously do not care about their students.
