Ball State is a wonderful school to go to for certain feilds of study. However, if the department you are involved in is not one of these few things, it can be an unmotivated and unchallenging environment. If you are looking for challenging classes that will make you feel brighter as opposed to feeling as though you are moving backwards, I suggest looking somewhere else.

In addition, if you are out of state or come to this school with no friends, it will be difficult to fit it. Everyone seems to stick with the friends they already know from home. It tends to be cliquey and somewhat like high school all over agian. People are fairly friendly, but every weekend seems like move out day because a large amount of people go home or to IU/Purdue for the weekend. I've met some amazing people but I have also found that many students are extremely close minded and concerned with partying and gossip rather than school work.

Ball State is a great place for certain people. Unfortunately, it is not the right place for me. It does have a lot to offer, but think hard about what you want in a school before you decide to go there.

However, LATE NIGHT is fun and a great way to meet people and get free stuff!
