Well I recently got in to the University of Illinois- Chambana and would like to elaborate a little on my experience here at SIU. I basically got in because of awful high school grades and a decent ACT score. SIU is a GREAT school if you love the outdoors and dont care about your friends smirking when you tell them you go to SIU. Overall SIU has been a learning experience and has taught me that the education system in our country is a sham. Professors are paid to go through a textbook within the semester and test on the material. Thats it. That paper we get at graduation is useless unless your going on to graduate school. Regardless, come to SIU if you want to have a good time. DO NOT come to SIU if you want to go to law school after graduation, you will be wasting your time.
