Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
University of Oregon provides the quintessential college experience - excellent academics, a very diverse social scene, outstanding athletics, and a plethora of majors to choose from. I am heading into my season year in the fall as a Business Administration major with a concentration in Sports Marketing. The Business program here is fantastic, though quite rigorous and has a ridiculous grading system that makes sure that students don't fall out of the "B" range. It is quite difficult to obtain A's in this program. Aside, from the quirky grading scale, the program is quite good. The Business program places an emphasis on teammate, which helps prepare students for the working world. There is also an Honors Business program available for students who really excel academically (3.8+ gpa). On the social front, there are so many different things to get involved with at this school such as political clubs, intramural sports, the outdoors program, cultural clubs, greek life, student government (ASUO). Most people are aware of the athletics here, so I don't think that needs to be discussed any further. One of the best qualities of this school is the people. Most people are very friendly and easygoing.
