If you don't mind me asking, where are you thinking of transferring to? |
WASPY?! Dude, the "p" stands for "Protestant"! |
Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Boston College is infested with white racist trash students and that includes most of the professors. And yes, I'm white and attended private Catholic schools all my life, therefore, I have a preety gauge of who is real money and those who are faking it. Not that it matters, but socio-economic background and status reign supreme at BC. If you are "economically challeneged" you are looked down upon. God help you if you're not blonde with blue eyes and White i.e waspy. That makes you a tripple minority! And please, if you are a gay student, run for the hills or stay and learn to be strong. Although i grew up in, let's say, a non-economicall challenged household, however, I was raised to love and accept everyone regardless of their percieved differences. And that's from my heart and soul. Because of my upbringing, being a BC student is quite stressful because I tend to allienate myself from a lot of people simply because I do not want to become part of their BS. Not the college experince I was hoping far. The moral of this story, Boston College is not a culturally freindly place and the "powers that be" do not seem to care. Oh, unless of course you can shoot a ball through a hoop or run a ball up and down a football field. What racist hypocrites!! Just go to www.bc.com and see just how many non-white students are on the pages. Why? Well at least they are letting you know up front who is in control and who is more relevant. Again these are the facts, not opinions, of a WHITE student who is in the process of transferring to another college far and away from MA.
