I transferred to Umass and got accepted into the beautiful Isenberg School of Management. My major is hospitality management. The SOM building is awesome. Its very high tech and a great place to learn. The only problem is every HTM (hospitality and tourism management) class is in this old building built in the 1950s called Flint. It is a complete joke and misleading that HTM is included within the school of management. I have never felt included and its sad because I was really anxious and excited to start when I had the orientation in the SOM building.

Accounting 221 is horrible because its in a class with 300+ students and the teacher isn't qualified.

Most of the HTM professors are passionate about the industry though.

The career fair is something great that a lot of schools dont do.

The career center is a valuable resource you can use.

If you live in Southwest dont get the unlimited meal plan because its a ripoff. Its very easy to sneak in when its busy from the exit.
